AHMED RAMIE RASHEED

Ramie completed his BA (Hons) in Architecture at Manchester School of Architecture, UK. At Manchester School of Architecture, Ramie was awarded the prize for the best design model and was a finalist in Laurie Rossant Award for Draftsmanship held at Building Design Partnership (BDP) Office, Manchester. Ramie was awarded Fulbright Scholarship to study Master of Architecture at State University of New York at Buffalo, US. Ramie’s interest towards urbanism and informed designing was further developed at State University of New York at Buffalo.

He started exploring his interest in this field at Gedor Architecture Pvt Ltd in 1996 as a draftsperson and an artist. Before he continued his professional education, he joined the team of associates at two of the most dynamic and technically proficient architecture studios at Maidesign in 2003-2004, and Mooinc in 2005-2008. Before joining Mspace Pvt Ltd as a director in 2018, he was a founding partner/ design principal at Urban Stitch (Partnership) established in 2009, a multidisciplinary firm.

MOHAMED ISHAN SAEED
PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT | DIRECTOR

After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture in Manchester University, UK, Ishan studied Masters of Science in Built Environment and Urban Design in Barttlet School of Architecture, UK.His first Experience in the field was working as an Architectural Technician for the Office of Physical Planning and Development of Maldives from 1992 to 1993. After that he worked for Group X Associates Pvt Ltd from 1995 – 1996, as an Architect at the Ministry of Construction and Public Works in 1998 and 1999. After that he joined Tekton Design Pvt Ltd in 2000 and worked as the Senior Architect up to 2001. Later, he joined Binarch Design Pvt Ltd in 2001 as a Consultant Architect and worked there for 1 year. Before Establishing Mspace Pvt Ltd, Ishan was the Managing Director and Principal Architect of Mooinc Pvt Ltd, a multi-disciplinary design firm which operated for 12 years from 2003.

ABDULLA FAZEEN
ARCHITECT | DIRECTOR

Fazeen has worked at two of the largest pioneer architectural firms in the Maldives, spanning his experience in the field for over an decade. Having started his career fresh out of school, his efficiency and interest in design while working as an Architectural Technician at Tekton Design Pvt Ltd from 2004 paved the way for future opportunities in his career.Fazeen joined Mooinc Pvt Ltd in 2006 and after having attained his Bachelor of Applied Science in Architectural Science from Curtin University in 2011, he continued to pursue his career as an Associate Architect in Mooinc Pvt Ltd until 2013. Before establishing Mspace Pvt Ltd , he joined Mudestudio in 2014 as an Architect and led the project team. He worked there until August of 2015.

SAEED ADAM
ARCHITECT | DIRECTOR

After completing an Advanced Certificate in Building Construction/ Civil Engineering at the Maldives College of Higher Education, Saeed worked for couple of years and later completed his degree in Bachelor of Applied Science in Architectural Science in Curtin University, Australia.His first experience in the field was in Tekton Design Pvt ltd as an Architectural Technician from 2002 to 2004. After that he joined Maldives Airports Company Limited as an Assistant Draftsman for 4 years. In 2008 he joined Oculus Associates Pvt Ltd as the Project Manager and as a Director. Later he worked for Tekton Design Pvt Ltd in 2014 as an Assistant Architect.

ASAD MOOSA
CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEER | ASSOCIATE
B.Tech Civil Engineering

After completing a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, in Hyderabad, India, in 2014, Asad joined the Maldives Airports Company Ltd. There, he gained experience over three years as an Engineer at the Airport Expansion Unit of MACL at Velana International Airport, Male’.Asad joined the Mspace team as a civil/structural Engineer in 2017. Since then, he has been an active team member taking part in several key projects undertaken by the company in the areas of construction project management and civil/structural engineering design.

AISHATH IFAGATH ALI
ARCHITECT
B(Sc.) Architectural Studies

After gaining work experience at Civeng as a Project Officer in 2012, Aysha completed her Bachelors of Science in Architectural Studies at IUKL, Malaysia. During this time she did her industrial training at Alaaf construction and MSPACE in 2016 and officially joined MSPACE in October 2018.

Since then, Aisha has been involved in several projects undertaken by the company. She is skilled in softwares such as ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Lumion, Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Microsoft Office softwares.

ISMAIL HAMEED (ZEMBE’)
ARCHITECT
Dip. Arch Tech

Zembe worked as a junior draftsman at Riyan Pvt Ltd from 2001 – 2003. In 2006, he completed Diploma of Architectural technology at Limkokwing University, Malaysia, winning the higher achievers award and industrial award. He joined Riyan as an assistant architect and worked on a range of projects at different stages of the design and construction process including concept development, interior design and development of construction details.

In 2016, after working in the same firm for more than a decade, he joined Urban Stitch [partnership] as an associate architect and worked there for two years. Zembe joined M space Pvt Ltd in 2018.

IBRAHIM FARISH WAHEED (SAYYA)
ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING DRAFTING TECHNICIAN

Sayya who joined mspace in 2018 is a team player with excellent communication skills and exceptionally good drafting skills attained over ten years of work experience in the field, in a variety of medium to large scale residential, hospitality and institutional projects.“I have always been inspired by the beauty, talent and creativity of modern architectural work.
